The still half asleep Hermes has noticed his husband has joined him and is reading a book in the chair. Ah, yes, he has found a much better napping spot. So he shapeshifts into his kitty form and climbs off the desk, right into Veritas' lap. There, he curls up and continues his sleep once again.

— And so, he lets the cat rest on his lap for as long as he needs. He grabs the blanket and drapes it over him once again, and returns to his book. And once he finishes a chapter, he turns to quietly work on the computer. It's the best time to work, since when Hermes wakes up, Veritas will want to spend time with him.

Like this, they can be close, and at least some work will be done for tomorrow. Every now and then, a hand comes down to pet the cat's head and ears, very carefully as to not wake him.

Sorry, Veri, I'm afraid you can't use your desk right now. Hermes has fallen asleep, curled up, on it again.

— Hmm. It looks like work will have to wait. So instead, he brings in a blanket, which he drapes over him, and a book to sit down with and read while his husband sleeps. He dares not to move him from his spot, afraid that if he does, it would wake him.

— Veritas is used to him by now- he opens his arms and catches him with practiced perfection. Then, he leaves a kiss on the deity's cheek.

"You missed me, hm? I wasn't gone that long, was I?"

while not blind, it wouldn't be incorrect to call her visually impaired. she sees through the strings that she uses to keep okhema "in check", so more often than not, she will have them woven into things she wears - which is why she wears only her own dresses / garments at this point.

unlike in canon, she is hesitant to offer her garments out to just anybody, as, like i said, this is how she sees what she's doing. the chrysos heirs, some old friends, and any deities that directly ask automatically get her approval. but others, she will warn of their properties.

when she fully trusts someone, she will wear something other than her handmade dresses or garments, usually dressing down far more than she usually is - this makes her often unrecognizable in her own city, unless she is next to a chrysos heir.

my aglaea's hair is much longer than canon's (down to her biceps, rather than just below her ears) because of a reason similar to mine: if it's short enough to make her think something tickling her ear, it's too short.

she's chubby! as a daughter of aphrodite, she is PROUD of this body shape, as her mom is the same way.

Your local speedy deity is just gonna put his hands up Aven's shirt and touch his tummy all over while attacking him with smooches. Haha what.

Even if he wanted to hold back the sound, he couldn't help laughing from the feeling of those hands wandering over his stomach. Arms hooked themselves around Hermes' shoulders, pulling him closer and into more kisses as hands lightly rubbed around the base of his beloved's wings.

"... I know it was for the best, but... do you think they'd still be here- the first Chrysos Heirs- if I had been there alongside them?" she wonders absently through thick silence between her and her dad mentor.
