Name: Artemis V Age: 158 (built in 1855) Occupation: Private Detective, Public Badass. "Wanna hear a story?" "Well gather around, and I'll tell you about my, heh, back story..." The name is Artemis V, the "V" by the way, stands for five, me being the fifth reincarnation of the robot, referred to as Artemis... Where to start... Hmm, my creator, was a beautiful young lady, name Rosetta Sparks, for a young Victorian girl, it was quite outlandish for her to have such a keen eye, and interest in the sciences, but nonetheless, she loved it, and paid no attention to those who thought different of her... That's the kind of lady she was, Rosetta cared deeply for her family, and her creations but paid little attention to herself, thus I was born. She needed a companion, she needed a friend... Someone or something, to bring her out of her own little world every now and then, remind her that she needs to eat, that kind of thing... And so I was her friend, her only friend, for a long time... But that all changed when, her father pressured her into getting married, like a proper respectable Victorian lady... I never really like Mister Sparks... He acted like he had Rose's best interests at heart, but he was only cared about what he could get out of her... Finally, she found a husband, and of course, there was no need for her best friend, in fact she left science, pretty much alone after that, I think her new husband wasn't entirely keen on the idea, I had never seen Rose in a dress, before their wedding day... Though every time I saw her after that, she was a 'proper' lady... Far from the dirty overalls, and messy hair that I cared for... It wasn't long since that day came, I was asked to come into Rose's room, and she began talking, I can hardly remember what she said now, she talked about how I had been her best friend, for a long time now, and since she had found Seamus, that was her husband, by the way, she no longer needed me around, I had barely found the words, when Rose twirled across the room, and press the button at the base of my neck... That's the last I remember... --- And that brings us up to a couple of years ago... It's now the 1930's I was found in a storage cupboard, by one of Rose's grandchildren... She's coming up to 100 now... She took one look at me, tears swelled in her eyes, and as she began to speak, I turn and went to gather my things, I left without a single word... I found myself in a strange world, I stumbled to a train station and picked up a newspaper, it read September 18th, 1932... As I continued reading, I noticed an advertisement, "Private Eye Wanted," and well, here we are... Sitting alone in my office... Recording my life, for all who care to listen... Just incase you wanted to know, Rose died last year, the ripe, old age of 102, I attended her funeral, no one recognised me though, no one uttered a word, but I have a feeling that when they arrived home, the saw a familiar face in some of Rose's old photographs.
