• Are you staying home from work/home?

Yes. This is not unusual for me as I generally work from home anyway.

• If you’re staying home, who’s with you?

My two daughters

• Are you a homebody?

I mostly don’t mind being at home but I like getting out and doing things too. I enjoy adventures and socialising. I love my alone time too so...not much of that lately.

• What movies have you watched recently? What shows?

I watched The Castle last night and my daughter and I finished watching The Hobbit the other day. Next we will move on to LOTR. I finished watching Anne with an E on Netflix a couple weeks ago. I’ll start something else soon, maybe Self Made.

• An event you were looking forward to that got cancelled?

I don’t think I had anything really. I feel for my girls though as they did with the courses they are doing.

• What music are you listening to?

I always listen to a variety most days depending on my mood. If I need a boost generally something in the dance/EDM category, also Indie, pop, acoustic and chill. I love me a bit of soul and some soothing tunes for the anxiety.

• What are you reading?

I recently finished “A Semi-Definitive List of Worst Nightmares” by Krystal Sutherland. It’s my daughters book but it was an interesting read. And for some reason I read “Animal Farm” by George Orwell. Hadn’t read that in a long time. 

• What are you doing for self-care?

Trying to take it easy. Things were stressful around here before this all began so it has had quite an effect on our mental health (all 3 of us). I am the person my kids fall back on so I am doing my best to hold everything together. Spending time with the pets and girls, walks, some games, jigsaw puzzles, a LOT of sleep/rest, reading, staying in touch with my family, taking the dog to the park, enjoying the sunshine when we can. Talking, sharing, cooking, laughing.
