Art Guard 309 is a mixed media visual artist whose influences include painter Edgar Degas, director John Ford, actor Peter Faulk and rapper Slick Rick, all of which operated to peak perfection only using one eye. Her personal theory is that if she trains herself to only practice art using her left eye (her right is typically cover with her bangs) not only will she be paying tribute to her heroes, but when it it comes time to produce a serious piece, she’ll pin back the bang and use both eyes giving herself double the strength and visual ability. Similar to how olympic athletes train in cities with thinner air, 309 is positive this method is a bullseye.

Art Guard 230 and track 3 on the album is a worker at a modern art museum. She has an eagle eye and keen sense of knowing when something isn’t right. Within seconds of a patron getting too close to a piece she will leap into the situation and move the person back. The only catch is that she doesn’t really care for art. To her its just part of the job. Occasionally someone will ask her about a piece and she brushes them away saying its not her job to know or care. Then one day she is mesmerized by the beauty of an abstract painting. She finally gets it. Unfortunately at that very moment a statue is pushed over and smashed. A fleeing voice blames the accident on a nearby toddler in a stroller but on closer inspection there is a hand print made of chocolate on the remaining pieces.
