I finished watching The Boogie Man Will Get You, it was an interesting movie.This movie is a bit like arsenic and old lace, but I prefer the setting of this one.

I drew personal posters for Peter Lorre and Boris Karloff.Sheriff's Peter Lorre is so cool!!!He really has a revolver. I really want to paint his cowboy costume.Boris Karloff is also very interesting. His hair is like clouds, kind old professor!

I like the sci-fi elements of this kind of movie very much, although it's just embellishment, but if we dig deeper … think about it! Maybe the two of them will develop into the kind of forgetting friends in Back to the Future.

I guess I just like watching this combination of grandparents and grandchildren, and I want to see more cooperation stories between them.

Not the most successful attempt at comedy, but I did laugh a few time. And PL is so cute in this role it hurts. Most of these screencaps are of the priceless faces he makes though.

Also, a French Canadian (or Italian?) suicide bomber is something I didn't know I needed. Silvio Baciagalupi is easily my second favorite character.

Happy Halloween! Because of Halloween, it adds a little background color to my daily work.

I guess my favorite PL character now is Johnny West. I just like the philosopher drunkard.^ ^

I would like Einstein better if he behaved darker, but he was set off like an angel by the people around him.

The role of Arthur surprised me, because I could see Peter Lorre playing such a powerful role.I like Arthur's various things very much. I like his kitten and his western gun. He has multiple responsibilities.He is more interesting than the whole movie.lol

I thought about drawing a congratulatory picture, but I really can't think of anything to draw.I feel like I've been watching horror movies for months, ever since I liked Peter Lorre.

Maybe I will draw all the cartoon images of Peter Lorre one day, and then I will print them as stickers.

I often see Joel Cairo and Ugarte being linked together, so I drew a scene where they met and chatted.

Of course, they will definitely talk about a tough guy who has hurt them.

I think Cairo and Ugarte are like sisters.(?)

By the way, I assumed the scene where Cairo met Arthur. The gap between their guns is really funny.

Sometimes I wonder if I'm over-queering these old movies but then I see Arthur Lorencz with his head on Nathaniel Billings's leg and Nathaniel is unmarried but knows what a powder puff is. And THEN I see Cornelius Leyden doing whatever the fuck it is he does with Peters that CERTAINLY has no heterosexual explanation. And then the entirety of the fucking Femm family comes crashing in headlong with not one, not two, but three, count 'em, THREE queer-coded siblings plus an alcoholic gay butler. And don't get me started on Arsenic and Old Lace, The Black Cat, You'll Find Out, or any of the others.

Just watched The Boogie Man Will Get You for the first time with a lovely side of pancakes, and I gotta say, out of all Boris Karloff's lines the "Doctor, look! POWder puffs!" is probably my favorite. He gets out his tender Mother Muffin voice and just sounds so completely delighted by the prospect of powder puffs...if ever there were a tone that embodied the 😊🌸🌼💖☀️ emojis, it's that one.
