Ok I’ll probably get a lot of hate saying this because it’s an unpopular opinion I think, but I’m sorry I have to say this. In my opinion, making Briar having a baby with Mr Marlcaster even if they weren’t together is a big mistake. 1) I find it really unrespectful for people who dislike the pairing. I know that Briar x Marlcaster is very popular on the fandom, but still there are people who don’t like it (or maybe preferred the Briar x Woods but they didn’t have the diamonds for them). I know there are couples in Choices that no matter the choices you make they end together (like Aleister and Grace from Endless Summer?), but this time Pixelberry gave us a choices between Marlcaster and Woods, so these two characters, if not picken, should get the same treatment. I mean, can we take a moment to realize that if a player dislikes Briar x Marlcaster and doesn’t want nothing of romantic never happen between them, he/she is FORCED to RESTART from Book 1 to PAY for Briar and Woods? When Briar said to MC she was pregnant, MC could have tried to guess who was the father and Pixelberry could have gave us the choices “Mr Marlcaster” or “Mr Woods” and the one we could have chosen was the correct answer. It was so easy. But nope. 2) When their daughter is born, we see that Briar is still “Miss Daly”. That means that Mr Marlcaster, even if he knew she was having his baby, still didn’t marry her. So Briar is a poor woman unmarried with a kid, on 1800. After this, some people will think that for Mr Marlcaster Briar was just “a crush” and “a quickie”. I mean I know it’s not true, but some people thought it even before because when he was flirting with her, he was in a relationship with Miss Sutton.  Mr Marlcaster doesn’t come out very well. 3) What was the point of this achievement?
