I need more hetero ships where the guy doesn’t like the woman at first—including her appearance—and it’s not the usual ‘ugh, she’s so hot, why does she have to be such a bitch?’ situation. I mean genuine initial rejection. But over time, as he gets to know her and starts to admire her personality, he slowly begins to see her as beautiful too.

For real. And I’m sorry to everyone who sees this for the wall of text I am about to inflict on you but I need to get that out of my system.

I remember it like it was yesterday - very early in the first game I knew, or thought I knew, two things: 1) Radzig is Henry’s real dad and 2) Hans seems juuuust a liiitle bit on the fruity side and like he has a giant crush on Henry. When prediction no 1 turned out to be true, I was ecstatic. But I told myself I’m just imagining the other thing. Queer romance option in a game aiming for a realistic medieval experience? In this dudebro economy? They would never. They can’t. I’m seeing things that aren’t there.

Time jump: It is the year of our Lord 2025. KCD1 is a fond but slightly distant memory. I haven’t really thought about it in years. I am scrolling through tumblr, as one does, and see a gif of two dudes kissing. As one does on tumblr.
