shosanna paced the hall of the dorm building, seemingly locked out of her room. it was a usual occurrence, brought on by the unfortunate fact that her roommate had a disgustingly voracious sexual appetite, which often left shosanna stranded out in the cold hallway. she sometimes was able to finish a paper or two by about three in the morning, but more often than not she fell asleep.

tonight, however, she wanted to try something new. she had yet to become acquainted with any of her neighbors, so what better time than the present, right? so she knocked on the door, laptop under her arm,and proceeded to call in through the door.

it was lame, for sure, but it was the best she could come up with.
