{♠} —; After her glassworking duties were finished, Sonya sought to make herself useful elsewhere. Her own creation was going to take time before she could use it, so the next tab on her agenda was Lantern Lighting. Oh, how fun. Walking around in the snow sounded abhorrent, but what was she to do? For now, just deal.
{♠} —; She gathered material for kindling, and carried with her a flask or two of oil—whatever would keep the lantern lit. The volunteers here certainly knew how to keep organized. Sonya was glad that at the very least she seemed to have been displaced in a functioning village. Gods know she would have frozen over by now if not for the people here.

It would seem she needed a lot of time to get used to the weather, but such is life. As the trek continues, Sonya only stops now and then to keep the lanterns lit, adjusting them so they won’t blow away in the wind or be knocked over by some animal.

{♠} —; “Sorry, I hadn’t noticed you there. I’m not blocking your way or anything, am I? You can tell me if I am, I don’t mind moving aside. After all, I’d hate to delay you on your journey if you’re one of the village scavengers aiding with the bonfire.”
