BREAKING:
KBS And MNet Announce Global Tour Featuring Kpop’s Biggest Stars
It’s no secret that Kpop is an international phenomenon, with fans everywhere from Japan, to Brazil, to the USA and back, though it’s a rare occasion when international fans can see their favorite groups perform-- very few groups are graced with world tours, and those that are don’t get them very often, but KBS and MNet plan on bringing the music to you with their next big project; their most ambitious project yet. Teaming up together, also with Radioactive Entertainment, Spotlight Productions, DS Media, Alpha Records, 360 Studios and Gaia International, the companies are set to embark on a world tour, featuring artists from all six companies.
Featuring stops in nearly 50 cities, across 27 countries, groups and soloists alike will travel together in a world tour, performing in day-long festivals at each stop. It’s been said that there will even be special performances-- trainee performances, collaborations, debuts and more!
The Vagabond Tour is set to begin on September 28th in Seoul, with all the artists involved releasing new songs just for the tour in the days beforehand. The festival will include meet & greets for lucky VIP fans with all their favorite groups. Models and Actors will act as hosts and entertainers too, and MNet has confirmed that VagabondTV will air on their channel, featuring highlights from the festivals throughout.
More information will be released as Dispatch finds it, but the tour dates have been revealed-- tickets are now on sale!
The Vagabond International Kpop Festival will be a four month long event. It is incredibly ambitious, and none of the admins have ever tried anything like this before, so please bear with us-- things may need to be tweaked along the way, and we’ll do our best to make things as enjoyable as possible for everyone involved.
The premise of the event is that all the acts under all six companies have signed on for a world tour across 27 countries, though since there are so many groups and artists, instead of concerts, each event will be a day-long music festival. Each act will perform a few times throughout the day at the main stage. There will be food stands and meet & greet stations as well, along with backstage areas for the artists who are not performing to relax, mingle, and enjoy themselves.
Fusion will come along and act as backup dancers for all of the groups, along with trainees from all companies. Trainees who cannot dance will still be brought along solely to spectate, as a learning experience. They will more or less act as interns, and will help get staff and idols what they need.
Unpretty will continue. It will be canon that all episodes except the finale were filmed in Seoul before the tour, and the finale will be live on one of the tour dates-- which date will soon be announced.
Every day, the admin team will post an update on the Official Vagabond Tour Page, informing everyone on what kind of day it is (Travel, Performance or Sightseeing), which city/country they are in, and any other special announcements or additions.
Staff will come along on the tour as well-- their positions will be altered slightly to fit the needs of the tour. If you are the mun of a staff member and would like to know what your character will be doing, please message the main. If your character is a staff member along with being a soloist, they will only be performing.
Actors and models will act as MCs, get to do their own meet and greets, and perform plays and scenes if they so choose.
Eternity’s monthly releases will still happen as scheduled. The girls who have not yet been announced will not perform, but will go along with their group for moral support, and as more girls are announced, more of them will perform their solo songs at the festivals.
Aside from a few special cases, new releases will not happen while the tour is going on.
As for lodgings, the KBS/MNet staff will have rented out multiple floors of hotels for all of the artists and crew. For the most part, people from the same company will stay together.
Docking Station will be put on hold until the end of the tour.
While Frontier will perform together, Unity will also perform together for this tour, despite their disbandment.
We hope that everyone enjoys the event, and that everyone is as excited as we are. If you have any questions at all about the tour and how it will go down, please direct those questions to the Vagabond page; it is likely that other people have the same questions, so please send them our way and we’ll do our best to answer them. We ask you to send them to this page so we have a running tab of all questions for anyone who wants to catch up. Love you guys! Hope you have fun!

HOT: K-Works and MNet Reveal Idol Project Music Videos
Fans of Idol Project will know that in the last episode before the finale, the contestants were tasked with creating their own solo songs, and while those were recorded for the Idol Project album, fans expected that would be the end of it-- which made it extra surprising when, today, K-Works released music videos for all of the songs in a batch.
“We have been working on these since the finale. A lot of fans really responded well to these songs, and we thought because Idol Project was so successful, it was a good way to give back,” said a MNet representative.
“Each of the girls played a part in the concept and planning for the videos, and we have been filming with them when we can, since many are promoting and have a lot on their plate. It may have taken a long time to put these together, but we hope fans will enjoy them!”
Unity, the Idol Project group, debuted on the 28th of April with No Oh Oh, and wrapped up promotions for the song in mid-May. K-Works has mentioned that the girls will take a couple weeks to rest and celebrate the events of the last couple months with their families, before getting to work on their first comeback.
