HOT: G-Project Releases Cover #5

There doesn’t seem to be any rhyme or reason to when G-Project posts a new cover, but that seems to be the game plan-- keeping fans glued to their social medias and youtube account is a great way to increase engagement. And early today, New Age posted another cover-- This time, a dance cover of Venus’ Dance the Night Away. 

For avid G-Project fans, there were a few familiar faces. Liyang, Yooi, Misaki, Joohye, Chaemi and Bianca all made their return for this cover. The only new trainee was Tiwi-- fans digging up information have found that she is Indonesian, and if she debuts, she will be the first Indonesian K-Pop idol. That seems to be a trend with New Age’s future girl group, as Bianca is the first Vietnamese girl, and Mint is the first Burmese. 

Much to fan excitement as well, Kaori made her first appearance in a G-Project video too, though it was brief. Kaori ranked very high on Idol Project, but she hasn’t been seen since the finale. She showed up at the start of this cover, giving a little wave, and eagle-eyed fans noticed an ankle brace on, confirming many insider reports of Kaori getting somehow injured at the Idol Project finale. 

Though many fans are excited and receptive to the G-Project releases, there is increasing concern about high-profile trainees that aren’t being featured. Somi has not featured in anything yet, but that is understandable, as she is busy with Unity, but Dita hasn’t featured in anything either. Dita was another popular Idol Project trainee, but she hasn’t been seen since the finale either, and fans are worried about whether or not she is sick, injured, or no long with New Age.
