One thing I've come to love about One Piece is more the difference between the pre and post time skip in the anime and manga. The Strawhat Pirates just look and feel younger in the pre-time skip, and they look and feel older in the post-timeskip. Maybe it's just me looking too deep into how Oda's art style evolved.
