This was a bit of a comical situation but then again some of the best alliances come together in the strangest of ways.  But still he hadn’t had a good death in a while, might be fun.  That was when he thought of something he’d heard a long time ago and it made him chuckle slightly.

“Strange how many that study those with, talents such as yourself always lean towards the fairer sex using poison since it’s not as messy.  Where men enjoy their blades, guns and bare hands.  You’re a dark horse, I think I like you.  But just a century?  You flatter me.” He winked playfully.

Removing his silver cigarette case from the inside pocket of his coat, Azerith continued to eye her while slipping the cigarette between his lips.

“Tell me,” he paused removing the attached lighter and lighting the smoke, “-which one was your favorite?  Or have they all faded into one screaming mass of nothing.”

Caroline felt her pale cheeks warm up at the compliment, and she quickly turned her head to look back at what she was serving, her hair falling forwards to hide her blush.

“Well, I made Bacon and Eggs.” She said, turning, but still keeping her head down, carrying two plates to the table and placing them down.
