“...didn’t know where else to go...” - [ Ai ]
At one point Yusaku had stopped to count the days, the weeks since he had seen Ai around the last time. He never had given up to search for the Ignis, but if he had learned something in this whole mess with his partner it was that if Ai didn’t want to be found he wouldn’t find him at all.
Being alone in his flat was still something he needed to get used to though. And the weather outside wasn’t making it any better at all with his heater refusing to work again. The knock at his door more or less had startled him, after all he hadn’t expected anyone, even less with that weather and at that time of the day. Takeru wasn’t around the city anymore, Kusanagi was with his brother and god knows where Ryoken had vanished to.
Once he opened the door and spotted the missing Ignis in his SOLtis body... for a moment Yusaku wasn’t sure if he was dreaming.
The voice left his lips as nothing more than a quiet whisper. His eyes went a bit wide after he blinked a few times and it took him another few seconds before he got a hold of himself again.
Truth was... he hadn’t expected to see Ai ever again. Even less in a situation like this.
Eyes wandered up and down the other one, taking into notice every detail. Wet clothes - no surprise with the current weather - and all in all he seemed like he had gotten into some kind of fight. It was more a look he was used from Takeru, but never had expected from his Ignis.
“What...” happened? He didn’t finished the question. Instead he raised an arm before he pulled the other one inside, closing the door behind him.
“Are you... are you okay?”
He hadn’t even been aware of the fact that SOLtis could physically get hurt in the first place.
