I had a need and my hand slipped. I'm a biased bitch, what else is new? Wheezes

Oh yeah, one of the parts that gave me a lot of trouble was his beak because initially, I wanted to abide by the rules the other origami birds were following where their beaks matched their feet. However, when I tried to do just that, the colors were no longer cohesive. I tried various shades of teal and nothing really stuck. Then, as a joke, I used the yellow I'd color picked from one of Caelus' official arts and OH MY FUCKING GOD IT WORKED?!

Even Banaz pointed out how well it brought everything together, so I simply proceeded to scream.

Nice to know my DanCae/CaeHeng agenda remains strong Wheezes

Ever since Alle got me into Honkai Impact 3rd, I've come to love a lot of characters, and Welt is no exception. He's honestly become one of my favorites xD

As I learned more about him in the series (and through Honkai: Star Rail), I got the sudden urge to draw him, especially after reading the Second Eruption Arc in the HI3 Manhwa. Hence the references I chose for this sketch 🤣 (MY FEELS ARE STILL EVERYWHERE MAN!!!😭😭😭)

Drawing his hair and clothing drove me up a wall way more than getting his face proportions right Wheezes But I still had a lot of fun doing this and I'm really happy with how it turned out ;w; 🖤💜💙💚💛🧡❤💖🌈

I got sick the week after my birthday and the moment I could art again, I had the urge to draw her, so HUZZAH!

On that note, even though I despise clothing, I suffered drawing in countless details just for her *Wheezes*

Xiao Study

The references I used were screenshots I'd taken when I did his story quest. The first image was the main one I relied on for the lineart, especially the details in the eyes. The other three were for figuring out his hair, while the final two were what I used for color picking, shading, and lighting. 

There were plenty of moments where the images weren't enough for his hair, so I'd end up logging into the game to observe his model. Suffice to say that I'm very intimate with the details now *Wheezes*

Overall, I'm really happy with how he turned out 🖤💜💙💚💛🧡❤💖🌈
