this extremely photorealistic melkor with +20 layers

this cute “semi”realistic melkor with a few layers and some cool effects

this single-layer monstrosity which melts my screen

Ok I'll try to unleash my ~*style*~a bit more in my next drawings.

I have noticed lately that I become too occupied with the fanart I'm drawing from. I try too hard to absorb the original style instead of doing my own lines the way I want them to flow. It makes everything look really forced.

Aight , I'll train my creative part of the brain to not care about how things are supposed to look like, but rather how I want them to look like.

I drew this a while back but ended up displeased with it. Filters make everything look better lol (but I gotta keep reminding myself that it's not a crutch!).
