One solution made by Artisan Wines is frankly genius. Grow Australian Sauvignon Blanc in the Frankland River Wine Region, Western Australia and ship it to be fermented in Bali. Craig Newton is the man that did it - and for holiday wine drinkers all over Bali - thank you as it is now possible to enjoy reasonably priced wine on the Island on Bali. Colour in the glass is a shimmering green tinged straw. The nose showed classic gooseberry and hay but underlaid with melon and perhaps even the faintest asparagus. Serve it very chilled, fill your plate with a load of seafood nasi goreng and relax.
