I’ve missed two classes in the past week, after a semester of perfect attendance. (Well...some issues of punctuality.) It’s a fight to eat healthy and stay hydrated, so my body doesn’t quit on me. I push myself too hard - but every night, the strength of that push needs to support me, without overpowering me. Self-control without self-consciousness. But I am grateful to exhaust myself doing something I love, something I believe in, and something much larger, more important, more beautiful to the world than I could accomplish alone. #artisnteasy #gradschoolishard #itsthehardthatmakesitgreat (at Detroit, Michigan)
