HELLO! i have not answered this before i am a very small blog i think? im not sure.
i would NOT recommend using my strats here since my ipad is old, second hand, and not compatible with an apple pen. however, it is surprisingly well adapted for finger painting on procreate, which is an app i WILL recommend! it has many of the same features as photoshop, you can download it on your iPhone, etc.
As for brushes, i make most of the brushes i use actually. The main two are the flat brush (made by procreate) and line/color brush made by a very old mutual of mine 4 years ago who im unsure is still active but the brush is super easy to make yourself. Same with my stars brush which i also just made myself. This sounds very intimidating, but making brushes on procreate is incredibly easy after some trial and error and no knowledge of coding is required haha. Everyone seems to think you need like super fancy brushes for art but you don’t those mfs deceiving

also i just checked now and here. thats. literally all you need in my opinion. spectra i just use for the occasional smudge tool since its the perfect smudge brush.
sometimes i also use this pencil brush but only for flat colour drawings
