I dunno, one thing I love about a lot of your post is that many of these things don't actually want to hurt you. They love you in fact! But their love is dangerous. It's just my favorite type of horror, to be honest. You portray it really well.
That’s exactly it and it’s my favourite too! I find it so much more interesting than just “this monster wants to kill you” and it makes for more complex situations too. Love can come across in so many different ways like obsession, passion, feelings being unrequited, jealousy, and attaching that feeling onto beings that are wildly powerful would create more dangerous situations than if they just wanted to kill you!
