LIKE OBJECTIVELY IT’S VERY CUTE BUT IT’S YOUR SAI THAT REALLY MAKES ME SHIP IT also the fact that sai is so protective of sakura, and sakura is the first person to reach out to sai, like, really reach out??? can you imagine sai getting feelings for sakura and trying so hard to understand them, sai and sakura bumbling through a relationship, sai and sakura somehow holding hands and sai doesn’t understand but it’s really cute and he likes how it feels so he keeps doing it???? and sakura pretends that it’s just helping him to get used to normal human contact but her stomach gets all fluttery when sai does it and she gets so defensive about him and they spend so much time together, they watch each other’s back in battle, and /jumps off a cliff
