Often artists need look no further than their own families for suitable artists' models. Dahlov Zorach Ipcar (seated, lower left in top photo), daughter of Marguerite and William Zorach, served as a model for both her parents, as seen in the painting (by Marguerite) and sculpture (by William) here.
