There’s a lot of stuff from Jericho Jaspers Jerome Jr that lives rent-free in my head, from FFXV and now in SVSSS, that’s either what they’ve come up with themselves or has served as a springboard for my own OC stuff. Their work feels very expansive and lived-in. It’s #goals, quite honestly.

I chose “Fount of Honour” out of all of the fics I like (Seriously, just read all of their FFXV and SVSSS fic) because it was the easiest to turn into edits. Such landscape. So Trajan. Wow.

I am an absolute sucker for pre-Nibelheim bonding time among Sephiroth, Zack, and Cloud. I am an absolute sucker for @jukeboxhound. Therefore, I shall combine the two.

The highlight of the fic is its snark, some of which I recreated above. Everybody gets their time to shine and their time to be very upset over some aspect of the film.

Look at the tags. Look at them.

“Pecan logs and kingslayings” is a very accurate summary of this fic series. (Yes, series. I’m linking to the main story, but there are sequels and side stories.) Lots of it has been made non-compliant by the later DLC and Dawn of the Future. I don’t care. I still think this version’s ending and sequel is what happened. Yes, I cried. Yes, I’ve stolen some of its backstory for my own purposes/OCs backstory. Yes, I’ve commented on most of the fic.
