happy new year -------------_--------------------
I'd like to say the inevitable sequel but i wish we weren't here in the first place
A selection of sketches and studies for March! About 99% of these are drawn and inked with ball point pen and brush pen. The painting study is about 6 months old--S. Sudjojono is a famous Indonesian painter starting his career with the Mooi Indische genre (basically pretty tropical landscapes in Indonesia), swerved towards Nationalism in the 1950s-60s and this one is the rare surreal painting he's done. I've also done a study on Italian marble sculpture and a quick environmental study. Not pictured: freaking out over world events (you know the ones) I hope April is a better month for everyone.
Sketches and observation from the end of April
Happy New Year!! I was asked how i make my cold brew tea recently
stylish!
a comic i made a long time ago that is...relevant.
Remnants of a Rejected Comic Pitch. I had received a tip from a friend that a certain publisher would like to solicit one of my Japan travelogue. It was rejected because unlike lost Japan travelogue I had decided to go to Kyoto and the publisher had insisted they only want a travelogue in Tokyo. And secondly, their rates were WAY too low. Oh well.
