There’s the Art of 2019 thing trending on twitter so I thought I post my thingy here too.
2019 was a really shitty year for me for personal reasons but uuuhh here’s some art I drew

I made myself a magical girl avatar to give 2019 a good send-off!
Last year I started focusing on paleoart as an exercise to help me produce more, and work on some areas I consider myself to be weak in, this year I really feel like I have found my niche and even grew a bit.
It's been an INCREDIBLE year and I can't wait for 2020! I've done a lot of work that I'm proud of, made some wonderful new friends, and grown a lot as an artist and a person. Let's go 2020!!!
Seriously... 2019 go get in the trash next to 2016 where you belong. Keep each other company and never speak to me again. ♥
A quick art recap of 2019!!
It’s been a wild ride, and thank you all for joining me for the adventure! 💖
I have the most fun drawing when I just relax and play to my strengths. I'm really happy with these cute and condensed results over my more ambitious drawings. I think experimentation has benefited overall, but next year I want to focus more on simplicity and impact.
totally forgot to post it here UGH
as you can see, at the beginning of this year I haven't drawn so much and now I've improved so much. my motivation was so low, I started to deal with some serious stuff and I just couldn't draw.. anything?? I didn't have this support, I didn't have the reassurence that I have now, I didn't feel like I was an artist. I didn't call myself like that, and I was totally okay with it, everything I knew was that I was okay just knowing that I was kinda good at something, and my future was then designed for me: 'her job will relate with art'. but now, since I earned some courage to open this page and go out of my comfort zone, finally drawing something new, I have everything I couldn't ever imagine having: a community that I love, 20 k people who.. support me?? like me and my art?? who send me thousand of amazing and supportive messages?? a place where I can finally explore my feelings as an artist, a place where I can share what I want to show in art. this is all thank to you. this year HAS CHANGED me SO SO MUCH and I can't thank you enough for that. I've met so many lovely people AND I'VE FINALLY FOUND THE COURAGE TO TAKE INSPIRATION FROM THE ARTISTS THAT I LOVE!!
last year I didn't know anything about.. can I say freelance? and NOW IM GONNA PUBLISH A ZINE
I've learned how to respect art, and how to do art, because of this amazing fandom. I will never thank you enough!!
i discovered what I want to do with my life, what my aesthetic is (YES IT IS A GREAT THING FOR ME), what are the things that I like and don't like, and some other things about me personally.
thank you so much, thank you all for your support, your love, your messages.
is this a dream becoming true??? YES AND I LOVE YOU.
HAVE A GREAT 2020!!!
