as #ArtsEnvoy teaching #WomensEmpowerment and #Entrepreneurship including marketing, presentation skills, branding and networking, to women-owned businesses, home-based workers, university and high school students. The women were encouraged to form their own alliances and create “Woman-owned” and “Made in Cambodia” 🇰🇭 branding. Instead of waiting to be invited to “take a seat at the table”, they were encouraged to “build their own table”. Home-based workers and artisans were also taught how to make products such as air dry clay beads made from locally sourced ingredients in order to do business and further their income.

Clay workshop Women who work in their home or “home-based workers” learn how to make clay beads from locally sourced, sustainable ingredients that can be made in their kitchens without the use of heat elements. The clay is hand painted with water based acrylic paint, tissue. Silverleaf, and other mixed media can also be applied.
