so honestly i'm normally not really into most hippie-type blogs, but for some reason yours feels really genuine. your blog and insta actually brightened my day and made me feel a little more motivated to make positive changes in my life. (corny as that sounds, i wanted to let you know.) so thank you <3
aw this means a lot! I am glad to hear all of this, stay wonderful cutie!!
hey! so i've been following you for i think the better part of a year, and i wanted to say that i think it's really admirable how much work and effort you put into your craft and to helping others! especially your spoonie resources, i think its something thats so often overlooked and the amount of work you put into changing that is really amazing :) so yeah i think you have a good heart and are a stellar person in general and i just wanted to say so
Awww thank you dear, this is SO sweet and definitely made my day!! 😚💕✨
hi ella!! 8 and 17 :)
Thank youuuu!!!
8. what's the most fun and the least fun parts about your process?
most fun for me is the sketching phase i think, just figuring out how things are placed and stuff. sketches also sometimes tend to look a bit dorky and it brings me great joy shjfhdsfj least favourite part is definetly lineart for me, i am very impatient, and it has happened more than once that i don't finish the lineart before colouring stuff which. i would not reccomend lol
17. what do you love getting compliments about?
honestly, any tag i recieve that says smth nice about my art is smth i treasure a lot, but i really love it when people just go unhinged in the tags bc of smth i drew, it's always so fun (i do have. a folder where i save some tags i get that made me laugh for when i am not feeling great lmao) just that someone felt enough emotions over my art to leave me a comment, even if it's just a little keysmash or smth is the biggest compliment u could make me lol

🙌 Draw a doodle with your non-dominant hand
fdghjgfd this was a struggle my left hand felt like it was going to cramp any moment
[ID: a digital doodle of Martin Blackwood from TMA. The lines are wobbly bc i drew it with my non-dominant hand. Martin is shown from the waist up in 3/4 view and smiling at the viewer. He is a fat Black man with curly hair in a ponytail. He is wearing a short sleeved shirt. End ID]

Your favorite music to draw to right now?
Usually I listen to podcasts when I draw but lately I've really been into Lost and Safe by The Books!
It's very chill, pretty kinda ambient album! Very nice to draw to!

Hey, feel free to ignore this if it isn't helpful, but I saw your post that mentioned photoshop brushes, and I wanted to make sure you knew that you can get waaaay more official ps brushes for free by clicking "get more brushes" on the settings of the tab where you see all the brushes you currently have. There are a lot there, and lots of them are much more painterly. Might not compare to traditional but way more fun that flat colours imo
thank you fr the info!! 😳 yeah i figured but usually i paint in SAI n im using photoshop temporarily i just miss my painting brush there lsdkjfk
