Realisation of an intervention: 100 Squares
19/3/16 - 21/3/16
It started with a walk within the city centre of Katowice, Poland. The route was one large square, taking me through the streets Wojewódzka, Francuska, Powstańców and Plebiscytowa. During my walk I randomly coloured in square, pavement tiles with charcoal. After completing each square I took a photo of it, noting the time and location. Once all 100 squares were complete, I revisited each one at certain intervals and again, took photos, documenting the gradual deterioration of the charcoal. This was repeated each day until the charcoal had eventually disappeared.
When I was in #LA I pretty much fell in love with the #edmoses exhibit at the #LACMA. It will be interesting to see how it seeps into my own work. #artwalking #drawingsfromthe60sand70sinlosangeles (at LACMA Los Angeles County Museum of Art)
