Lines

Lines can represent anything you want them to

Whether it is spikes, fire, or puffs of air

A line can do the job for you.

Lines are used as symbols to either draw you in or keep you out.

One simple line can mean many different things

And depict your view of the world.

Two Birds

I look to my left

And I look to my right

I see two birds that are out of

Sight!

I tell my sister

“Yo look at them birds”

She was like,

“Where, Where?”

I said right there

Girl  are you blind

Do you need some binoculars?

You need to go to Rite Aid

And jump right in line

Grab those binoculars, put them on

Look at the birds

And say ow-weeeh

She said

“Oh them birds are out of sight”

And I said

“Okay baby!"

In my heart I see...

In my heart I see cats

Reading books.

My heart feels like

Playing basketball with his friends.

My heart loves dessert at Friendly’s.

My heart hates swimming with ballerinas.

My heart dreams of becoming

A rapping artist with his own song album.

That’s the feelings in my heart.

If my lawn started to talk to me

If my lawn started to talk to me

It would say

I am a part of your environment,

I make your property look beautiful,

I give color to the world.

I am soft if you fall.

The world used to look brownish,

But now I make it green and blue.

I make the environment better for you.

I’m perfect for picnics.

I am a living creature.

I am your friend.”

When I have a hard time with math

When I have a hard time with math,

My pencil says “I’ll help you with it,”

And he does.

That’s what I think he does.

Frogs Croak

Frogs croak as they hop through the grass.

They hop and hop all day long,

Almost never stopping to take a break

They jump in the pond with a little splash

And a crash and then... it’s gone.

Swimming so swiftly in the water,

Looking like it’s never going to come out.

I will become a legend

On my way to explore the exciting world

Moving on from staying in my shell

Looking past writing poems and other nonsense

Beginning to let out a great Rorrrr!

Because I am a monster

And I can stop anything in my way

Getting there with my courage bravery and righteousness

And, I will become a legend.

Chocolate

A women’s demon

A man’s advocate

Chocolate plus chocolate

Multiplied by chocolate

Equals

Ecstasy

In my mouth it melts

And blends in with my

Taste buds

They are singing with

Joy

When it is gone

Remorse rises with regret

Pressing replay in the mind

To have it again Chocolate divided by chocolate

And multiplied by chocolate to the 2nd power equals heaven.
