What’s your dream ? Last night the stars were out again in Tulum. A few days of strong winds and clouds were now followed by a night of relatively low humidity in the air. The stars were out quite bright and the Milky Way When rose into the sky at 11:36 pm crossing the sky until 5:14 am. I have been spending quarantine time down here in tulum and took this photo last night. Stars have a special emotion they provoke inside of you as you gaze to the heavens. One photo from my new show that opened at @artwithmetulum at @ahautulum in #tulum #artwithme It is a series of 9 cloudscapes. The first one is a photograph called “dream” that many people have seen and the 9th is called “Believe” that many people have also seen. The 7 in between them are photographs of skies from tulum and around the world. Somewhere in the moments where a dream actually becomes a belief within you is one moment when you are connected to that which is greater than yourself. It is a moment when that outside of you helps forge a notion into something that guides your internal compass. The dreams you have that become the accumulations of your beliefs begin to define who you are. This transitional revelation period has often happened for me while staring at the “heavens” for me. I photographed some of these moments that occurred for me. The skies would open up and seem to almost speak. The reflected images from those moments became abstract almost Rorschach like allowing the viewer to see there own subjects within them. They are much easier to view at large printed sizes because of the subtle details in the textures. This is just one in the series. (at Ahau Tulum)

@artwithmetulum #artwithme this was an incredible collaboration of an installation by @gamelatron and david graziano the founder of art with me and owner of @ahautulum This was during a beautiful #sunset on the #beach There was a bed on rollers that people would pull through the tunnel to experience the magical sounds of the #gamelatron The gamelatron has been featured at #burningman before.
