I think for my final artwork ill take this idea of gender signifiers and object personification to the next level by trying to create a piece of shadow art, projecting a light source and arranging objects to create a human form in the shadow.
I expect this will be really difficult, but also really interesting to do.
The first 2 photos are of shadow art by Tim Noble and Sue Webster - they use found objects to form human shadows. All of their work is very complex however.
The last 2 works are by artist Kumi Yamashita - he uses forms to create human shadows as well, but more uniform base materials are used. If i could get half his result id be happy.
