I wish all those likes were mine 😭 in my original posts I have like... 10 o 30 likes? Also those comments. I really would loved to receive them firsthand so I could truly thank the people who liked my art, because to me, that's the best part of posting your art online. Feels so great when people likes what you love to do and tells you about it. Or when they do constructive criticism helping you to improve.
If they asked me directly if it was okay to repost it, I would say yes, but the fact is that they didn't and feels bad bro u.u
Also, I think at least they could put links to my social media, or to the original posts but they didn't.
If someone out there wants to repost my art, please please just ask so we can have an arrangement.
I think sometimes reposts (when credit is given properly) help a little bit because somehow it gives your art more exposure and other people can find your accounts, but there are ways...
For example, there are some great tumblr users that ASK the artists for permission, link their galleries (pixiv, twitter, dA, insta, etc.) and the original post, and they've helped me to find them, see more of their artworks and follow them. THAT's the correct way.
I want to see the possitive side, in which they liked my art and that's why they reposted it, but I think all artists suffer the same problem :( maybe I'll start putting the links to my accounts ON the drawing even If I don't like to ruin my drawings like that :(
Anyways, if you like my artworks I would REALLY appreciate if you commented me directly about it, so I can know and feel infinite happiness. If you're too shy to post a comment, send a PV message. That would encourage me to improve and to keep creating content.
