Some loose watercolor sunflowers I made awhile back. They are ridiculously fun to paint.

A solo version of the featured moth (!!!) with a funky lil border. There are 3 different versions total.
I had a lot of fun with this one. 😳
Hello Tumblr!
Have some space-themed twins. Portraits number 6 and 7 (no pun intended) in my Stella Luna portrait series. I like the comic-inspired vibe they give off. Also my first time experimenting with hard shadows that weren't under chins, haha.
Love 'em? Buy the prints here and here. Let me know which one is your vibe!
Just realized I never shared these loose watercolor Icelandic poppies I made a while back. I can't believe I didn't! I've gotten better at them since (at least, I'd like to think so). But I love how bold and fun they are.

The vibrant Stella Luna Portrait series is part love letter and part coping mechanism.
I was in the process of being diagnosed with a rare disease, which required surgery. Read about how these colorful character illustrations are helping me heal. Click here.
I hope you are all doing as well as you can. Take care of yourselves, okay? You are loved, wanted, and needed.
I'm rooting for you. 💜
With love, Cherese a.k.a. Rese
Two versions of tumblr’s favorite moth, framed.
Fun fact: both are available on my website. The top moth can be found here and and the bottom here.
I haven’t made one of these in awhile. I should hop on that. 🤔
I hope you are having a good day.
Be kind to yourselves, alright? 💜
The second portrait in the Stella Luna character portrait art print series!
Wow, what a mouthful.
It’s based on a list of 3-word prompts from Charly Clement’s Out-of-This-World portraits class. The prompts for this one were: daisy, crescent moon, and glasses.
Check out the first portrait here (there may also be a promo code in that post 👀)!
Shop the collection here, on my website. 🎉
This is a long-term project, so I’ll be sprinkling these in every now and then. I wanna take my time. This series means a lot to me. I started it during a very difficult time in my life. It’s good to be able to bring them to life and share them with you. 💜
Be kind to yourselves. I hope you are doing well!
I tried something new… gouache!
Am I good at it yet? No. But you can read all about my adventures with gouache in my Instagram post here.
Spoiler alert: Used new brushes that are VERY different than what I’m used to, on the first page of a new high-quality 100% cotton paper sketchbook that’s 300 gsm, and messed up. A lot. I’ve got a lot to learn!
