I don't post regularly bc im real busy rn, but that doesn't mean im not into jaya any more.
I really REALLY like Jaya with Rogue, DR really made me like Jaya even more even if I was diehard fan since my childhood. I think there's a lot of going on in their relationship...Nya is SO stubborn and Jay always used to balance out her short temper, now she deals with him beeing unbelievable jerk all the time.
Though I dont think amnesia and mask fully erased Jay's characteristics. He was a bastard since day1, but kissed the ground Nya walked on. Now everything that changed is Jay beeing not enthusiastic abt doing good and beeing with Nya. For her, every changed, but she still knows and sees her bf as it was before. Like when Nya chuckled after hearing him whine about injured leg, is it not her Jay? Whiney, nervous and cool wannabe.
But on other hand Jay is soooo messed up. I think he is very complicted about his feelings. Jay hates Nya for humilating him at the tournament, for what Ras have done with him after. He thinks she's tricking him for unknown reason, probably to use again. But at the same time can all of those love confessions, sincere help and compassion be really fake?
And Nya WILL be as stubborn, even if she needs to break his stupid leg again, Nya knows he can take it.
