Here is some of the initial lighting work with FJMT and work in progress photos during the commissioning of this truly unique interior. 

We start our projects with sketches and imagery to determine the design narrative, develop the the hierarchy of brightness and big ideas. We then work through modelling and physical testing to sure up the design development. 

The 388 George project used a 24 hour approach to lighting design with analysis of daylight informing the electric lighting

We’re also there at the end of the project, working with the contractors to ensure lighting is aimed and commissioned to meet our clients needs and accentuate the design intent.

A once in a lifetime project...

ANZAC Memorial Hall of Service. 

‘The Hall ... draws from the spatial qualities and is envisioned as a contemporary interpretation of the original halls to extend the Memorial visitor experience into the new facility. Visitors are able to see into the Hall of Memory via sightlines through the grand stairwell and the Oculus.

The architectural form and symbollic purpose of the space is reinforced and given powerful meaning by Fiona Hall's artwork. The partnership between Ms Hall and Centenary Extension architect, Richard Johnson honours the original partnership between artist Rayner Hoff and architect Bruce Dellit.’

ICE

Indonesia Convention Exhibition

These are some happy snaps of the opening of ICE.  

The building is MASSIVE boasting 65,000m2 of exhibition space alone. The project was designed in Sydney with Cox Architecture and the lighting scheme includes all exhibition halls, conference center, meeting rooms and pre-function/foyers. 

Exterior facade lighting was designed to complement the various cultural holidays in the Indonesian calendar, and this project marks the beginning of a larger program including hotels and a commercial building.

Latest little project completed is an area at Paddington, London which we integrated LED strips into the underside of the timber seating and up-lit the trees. 

The space is used for an outdoor cinema in the summer, with the gap in the centre of the seating where the temporary screen is set up. People park up on the grass in deck chairs and watch the films. The tree lighting is dimmable to set the mood once the film starts. Simple, yet effective.

Eight years since we began work at Maitland City Bowling, stage 3 is now complete. This project adds a number of impressive flexible events spaces to the club's interior, and Terrior continue to follow their bold aesthetic principles set out on there masterplan
