Religious Headcanons: Ah… I don’t really have any so I made up a couple~ —- Everyone on the Mechonis worships Meyneth, with almost no exception. This is because many of the mechon remember a time when they met her in person, or have heard multiple stories about those times.
—— The people of the Bionis have a fair amount of cults however, the ones with the most following being those who worship the Bionis, and those who worship the Monado. Those who worship the Monado tend to be of the Defense Force or are related to soldiers. There are, of course, many other cults, whose object of worship range from Prison Island, to the High Entia, to the mechon, to ether crystals. A popular cult among Nopons worship pollen orbs.

Coffee beans and keyboard clicks. One, rich in aroma and - eventually - taste, the other, a miniscule, - depending on the device - often repetitive noise. Both a staple to any good and respectable cafe or coffee shop. The added smell of fresh pastries and tea was just a bonus. In other circumstances, it could be seen as overwhelming but this particular shop had a 'air-it-out' policy--mostly keeping the door open and using the vents. No one liked too-much-smell-not-enough-oxygen, after all. And it brought in customers.
❝I'm not late am I?❞
The blonde trots in smiling--sheepishly all the while--at his already arrived friend and co-worker. He may have slept in after another long night. Perhaps it shows, for he only receives an exasperated,
"No, thank god."
He chuckles, finds he's already been checked in, and goes to complete set up after he's done changing. The uniform is simple enough in essence, requiring only the top and of course the apron. He's glad for the hoodie option in tops. Some people said he wore long sleeves too often. He rolls the sleeves up as he re-wipes every table and chair, tugs them down checking the register, pulls them back up putting out the pastry displays, and so forth. When he's done, theres already a line at the door. Still early but..
The customers pour in gratefully, - it's cold out and he didn't want them to freeze - order, and then seat themselves. Much the same as any day. These were the early morning regulars, who would reside with them until their usual time, leave and be replaced by the afternoon group and so on. Some from each group stayed all day, it just depended on the person.
It was the random stragglers they got to come in that interested him most. Their reasons for coming, their order. Some were a one time affair and others would become regular visitors, different from the sit ins if only by the manner and timing of their coming. It was always nice to get to know someone, new or otherwise however.
Probably why he enjoyed the job so much.

Days were simpler spent in the lab, particularly on quieter--at least in comparison--days like this one. Granted, he could spend many an hour just.. staring at a singular part. Contemplating. It would be best if he didn't, however, now that he had a little company around. --Obviously that fact didn't always stop him. Case in point today. So he's a little later than he'd like, a minor indescretion. There'd been worse. One night he'd passed out with a certain mechanism in hand-- But that's besides the point. He was on his way. He hadn't needed to be reminded or anything--
Shulk's pace is brisk, even when people greet him. He smiles exchanges pleasantries, but ultimately he's bound for home. Alvis, a company he didn't mind keeping, should be waiting, should be up and about by now. He still wondered how the other was adjusting.
❝I'm home.❞
It's a soft call that he's become accustomed to making, but when it isn't met with a response--or rather.. anything--
❝Alvis?❞
Nothing. Stillness. His own intake of breath.
A wave of panic--no, no, he'd probably just gone out. But--
Finally, a shrill noise from the kitchen. He nearly jumps. The tea was on? Then surely--
Blues widen. Oh. Oh no.
❝Alvis‽❞
His tone is shriller than the last call, and he moves at a speed to match to where he finds the other on the floor. He almost flutters about uselessly, attempting and then not. He's not skilled with people.
Think. Do not panic. Think.
Sharla.
Aruvisu asked: ☢
☢: something my muse is afraid of Lightning. Thunder doesn't scare him at all, but open electricity? Oh no. Ever since the Monado's 'side effects' had caused the loss of control in his right arm, lightning and any sort of open electricity will make him flashback to that day. They found that out very painfully on their journey.
Justice, Respect, Afterlife
'Justice' is a concept with strong sway amongst the High Entian people. Led by an imperial family, supplemented with the presence of multiple Ministries and their various responsibilities, it is no notion taken lightly. Raised as a prince, Kallian is very much in accord with these ideas, learning from a young age that proper justice requires a degree of objectivity, no matter who is involved in the conflict or the concern. What is just is not always kind or merciful, and of this, he was made painfully aware. But if it is for the sake of the people, then it is so.
Kallian holds a deep respect for the other species of Bionis. He knows that he and his people have been blatantly ignoring the activities and the conflicts at the lower levels, for the sake of their own defense and preservation. Having come into more contact with them during the formation of the allied forces, Kallian can more clearly see how they’ve adapted to a lifestyle with a consistent threat of danger. That they are so accustomed to it, while alarming to see what they’ve been subjected to, is consistently fascinating to him.
Lineage is of pivotal importance to High Entians, from their belief and faith in the work of their forefathers to some of the more radical beliefs about the purity of their blood. The afterlife, however, is something not often touched on. That the memories of their family members passed stay with them is undeniable, bearing on their kingdom a cultural significance, though the details of a particular afterlife are never expanded on. It was an idea that Kallian himself never grappled with, knowing only that it was his duty to prevent if, when possible. The idea that the entire race of High Entia is nothing more than sentient cells of the Bionis, however, would have posed an interesting question the validity of their actions and the legitimacy of their agency.
