I came across a species called Arvani recently and the requirements for a MYO are egregious. You can't just pay a fee to make your own, y'know, the ENTIRE point of buying a MYO, it's in the name after all, to get a cheaper option to commissioning a custom or buying an official adopt.

The ONLY way to get one is to shell out 350-500 USD because the owner forces you to get a remade version of it that fits their personal tastes. There is no choice to not get art made by the creator. And no, you cannot add your own touches to it because god forbid. The excuse being (Directly quoted from the below page.) "This is a protective measure against the creation of counterfeit Arvani and will not change in the foreseeable future." which makes zero sense considering plenty of other cs let people design their own characters. So, it's just an excuse for the creator to get more money instead of offering a cheaper option for those who want to participate. It's a real shame too because I love the specbio aspect of it and there's not a lot of specbio cs.
