started my one-shot session yesterday.... it was a total disaster but here are some highlights:
- I (a dragonborn) tried to get a better vantage point so i succeeded in finding a sturdy tree, unfortunately i failed the dex check to actually climb it so i looked like a hilariously oversized and fat lizard trying to climb a greased up tree - Our Fighter/Ranger approached the battle which A) almost got her eye gouged out by an arrow B) initiated the encounter - during the fight the Cleric who speaks goblin told it to fuck off in goblin and that pissed the goblin off - Cleric is an Aarakocra based off an Ostrich so instead of flight, they get better movement speed so our Cleric is basically sonic with a hysterically long neck - Cleric just Matrix'd with their neck to avoid an attack, it was amazing - Cleric was the only one ACTUALLY DEALING DAMAGE NEVERMIND THAT WE HAVE A FIGHTER/RANGER IN THE PARTY - Goblin said I was too dummy thicc and the sound of my asscheeks clapping kept alerting it. - got to be a useless chungus lizard because all my rolls sucked all around - tried to use my poison breath weapon against the enemy, only ended up having indigestion and practically just burped nothing but my lunch :| - screamed "GARLIC BREAD" in draconic in a hilariously pitiful attempt to intimidate the Goblin and mount - I finally got a good roll when the goblin got down to 7 HP so i basically went in for the kill, stealing the kill from the cleric.
might change my class to Barbarian so at least maybe hopefully someone but the Cleric can do damage 🙄
