hHI i hope u don't mind i say this but, although we dont share interests anymore, i rly enjoy what u post and i admire you soooo much for keeping notebooks! i want tot start doing the same but field notes are too expensive for me and i cant find a cheaper alternative sadly :( do you know of anything/anywhere i can get something similar for a better price? thank u! keep doing u!

aw thank you :”) i think the most similar thing is the moleskine cahier (?) notebooks, which iirc are significantly easier to get hold of and also exist in various colours! but before i used field notes i just wrote in whatever pocket sized notebooks i could find. often those europa tiny reporter’s notebooks. i think those are quite cheap! oh and WAY back from the ages of uhhh 10-13 maybe? i had a bunch of literal exercise books. they’re good too! imo good notebooks should be Nice but like..... not So nice that you feel you need to make everything you put in them perfect!

Asa thank you!!!! I really really didn't want to sell the myth books. I've been amassing them for like 10 years and the thought of taking them to a book store was making me feel sick. ;~;

me my partner were discussing varian drinking the potion and tbh we both don't see what benefit he would have from that - since the opposite of his core personality is more likely for him to give up completely, rather than be a villain or something. so we think it's more likely that he will try to break down its components and maybe use some of its effects for something..

I mean, you wouldn’t think that Eugene’s core personality was really filled with that much hubris. The movie established that the Flynn Rider bravado and ego was a facade to hide Eugene Fitzherbert, and that his core personality was actually much more insecure, which would make his opposite personality even worse.

Personally, I would think that Eugene’s opposite would not be terrified and spineless, because he’s already insecure about who he is. I get that they were trying to go for the opposite of how he acts all the time, but... I don’t know, his whole shift made me uncomfortable. (Despite that, as always, I think Zac’s voice acting was amazing in that episode.)

But sorry. I hijacked this ask and made it about Eugene when you were talking about Varian. My point was actually that we don’t know what the writers think of as Varian’s core personality. Maybe he considers himself too scared to follow through on his convictions, so a single drop would make him brave enough to do what he’s planning on doing.

Or maybe he intends to weaponize it, as discussed. Maybe he’ll alter it to force people to have the emotions he wants them to have (such as fear), rather than alter their personality to the opposite.

Well, if it’s not on TV where you are, then you won’t be able to watch it online officially. I officially watch it on the Disney Channel app, called DisneyNow.

You’re welcome! And not a clue. That’s always up for grabs. It’s not a consistent time. It’s usually out within a few days. Sometimes it’s out within a few hours.
