There aren’t many Qunari in the ranks of the Inquisition, so those that do make themselves at home here are quick to catch the attention of Ash. A spy by trade, he couldn’t help but hear the rumors of a new Qunari in the ranks, one that accompanied the Inquisitor no less. So of course he, like any information-greedy soul, set up shop to find out as much about her as he could.
It proved well worth the wait of greeting her, too. According to rumors between soldiers, she seemed to avoid people, to which Ash guessed might be from a language barrier? It’s not uncommon for Qunari to be hesitant speaking the common tongue, but of the conversations he’s eavesdropped on her grasp of it seemed quite fine. A mystery he was burningly curious about; And while curiosity may have killed the cat, satisfaction brought it back.
There’s really no hope in convincing himself not to approach her, careful to make sure his normally silent footsteps make noise on the stone-wrought flooring, before speaking. “Do you normally hang out in this sad, abandoned area?”
