i had this theory for the final scene of s6 where, if stevie ends up leaving the town, live again by irma thomas plays like the end of s1, and everyone is sending her off as she gets into rolands truck. then she drives off, everyone goes back to their now content lives together in sc and nice footage of them intercuts with stevie driving off, but as opposed to the end of s1, it's optimistic and hopeful, and the last shot is the truck driving out of schitts creek passing the town sign

oh boy, i love this! i love the idea of stevie being the one to get out of there because GOD i want big, wonderful, happy things for her. she deserves it! she deserves all the joy she can possibly stand! and where in the s1 finale she lets not being in a relationship be the cause of staying in schitt’s creek, maybe this time not being in a relationship is what allows her to leave. she’s comfortable enough being herself and being BY herself now that she feels freed by it rather than held back, and she takes herself off on a grand, new adventure just because she can. i think i’m gonna go ahead and get my kleenex ready now, just in case

If you could ship Twyla with another character who would it be? listen, if patrick & david balance each other out then i think twyla & stevie could REALLY balance each other out. stevie is dark & moody while twyla is bright & sunny, even though they both come from similarly convoluted backgrounds. twyla could really help stevie Embrace Joy while stevie could prompt twyla to be more adventurous & enjoy a little spontaneity & variety in her life. plus they’re both clearly destined to stay in sc & they are both longing for love & companionship. @dantiloquent oh my god yes the bdg vid. I feel like Patrick goes through that same level of psychological thriller when it comes to having to cut his jeans

holy shit yes, but instead of waxing poetry he’d have a powerpoint with Business Stats. i’m talking pie charts, i’m talking bar graphs. also david’s reaction to seeing patrick cutting his jeans would certainly make it seem like he’d just committed some sort of psycho murder.
