Read a lot more science non-fiction this year then I expected so I guess there’s that 🤔

25. What reading goals do you have for next year?

- reading even more nonfiction then I did this year, particularly memoirs

- choosing more to read based off what I would really like to read rather than what others say they like

- reading 50 books maybe but I don’t like making reading turn into a challenge. so I would like to read 5 books that I end up loving

- more audiobooks <3

1. Ep. 30 The Boy Who Saw The Cracks In The World. i think ill carry on!!! need i say more.

2. Ep. 28 Belonging. its simultaneously romantic and horrifying and immensely tragic it’s some of the most impressive writing ive ever seen. it manages to twist everything beautiful about the relationship into something monstrous and riyo’s emotional journey through the episode is fantastic.

3. Ep. 27 Breakout. well. what can i say. this episode gave me new never before heard of mental illnesses. the ‘i want to be nobody’ speech lives in my head.

4. Ep. 22 Ingratitude. I think about this episode every single day no joke im obsessed with the mimetic sacrifice going on here an also it’s heartbreaking.

5. Ep. 7 Edibility. I was already really enjoying eskew up to this ep but when david goes into the way he feels divorced from all his friends and like he’s an outsider even as part of the group i was like 👁👄👁. also the victory david feels at the end is infectious even though it. is more complicated than that.

1. What character do you relate to the most? Why? hm let’s see i’m constantly overcome with anxiety, afraid to love while simultaneously having an enormous amount of love to give, always A Dramatic Gay Mess unless someone else is in crisis & then i’m a rock, i consider myself damaged goods & feel doomed to never emotionally connect to anyone ever again, plus i’m a patrilineal jew whose dark eyebrows are the defining feature of their face. there is a Reason i feel a cosmic connection to david rose.
