CATHERINE + MARY | Twice before the royal twins have given us two glorious days. Let's see if Catherine's working trip to Denmark in February can give us any more!
ROYAL ASCOT || The Duchess of Cambridge during her three appearances at Royal Ascot over the years (2016, 2017, 2019)
THE WORLD IS HER CATWALK | The Duchess of Cambridge always brings it at Royal Ascot, never more so than her long-awaited Elie Saab debut in 2019 (of her two white lace choices, my heart belongs to the 2016 dress, which, despite being longer, feels younger and more fresh)
DREAM TEAM | The Duchess of Cambridge and Crown Princess Mary of Denmark glow in each other’s company at the Royal Ascot in 2016
WALK, WALK, FASHION BABY | The Duchess of Cambridge made her debut at Royal Ascot in a white lace dress from Dolce & Gabbana, which she had previously worn to the Queen’s Windsor Horse show in May. She teamed this with a new hat, the ‘Una’ by Jane Taylor, and her Gianvito Rossi heels in praline suede. Catherine also carried her LK Bennett ‘Natalie’ clutch and she wore new earrings from Robinson Pelham.
ROYAL ASCOT | The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge enjoy some racing from the Royal Enclosure during their first appearance at Royal Ascot as a couple
If you don’t mind me asking, what is the ‘very special guest at ascot’ thing you mentioned?
A few years ago, during Royal Ascot, the royal twitter accounts spent a few days building up to a “very special guest” at Ascot. Us being clowns, we spent those days guessing everyone from Obama to Victoria and Daniel to Margrethe to the Windsor great-grandchildren. It was a very exciting time.
And then it turned out to be Ant and Dec. Who are great. But not exactly the Earth-shaking guests we were lead to believe.
