it’s almost deja vu that stirs in him at the sight of the young man, marvel at the unknown evident in that twinkle in his eyes. it’s one he recognized, wearing it in his own for so many years. it’s all he can do to hope that the boy avoids the mis- takes made by the elder, for stanford exists as a cautionary tale of just what one can become should the curiosities of the world around them CONSUME a person. for the time being, though, he’ll encourage the inquisitiveness. it’s healthy, in some doses, and can lead to the greatest discoveries. “ so what is it you’re looking for exactly ?? “
