I instantly got a larger social battery after deciding that actually I'm done scripting because I know at my core that I'm kind and love people and if someone chooses to see evil where there is none then I don't care for their approval in the first place.

If adhd is like being a race car driver but your car has no breaks because you go-go-go until you crash or run out of fuel, then autism is like being a sail boat when everyone else is a motor boat -- I'm slower, setting sail takes longer because it includes many many more steps, I have to rely on the right conditions to get somewhere, and if I do things in the wrong order I tip over.

Being auDHD is like being a racecar with no breaks in a sailboat and you could just imagine how that goes.

Listen I'm all about celebrating my differences as an autistic individual but how the fuck do I turn off my insistence on bringing up the fact that 1995 was the year they abolished apartheid in South Africa whenever someone asks what year I was born. Why. What's wrong with leaving it at just the year? Huh? You'd think I'd be interested in South African history or just South Africa in general, but no! I don't want to talk about it actually and I don't have any more facts! Sorry I fooled you I can't turn this feature the fuck off!!

Y'all are gonna have to stop saying that you can detect narcissists because of your autism that is literally not a symptom nor is it helpful to anyone to live by the narrative that you cannot be wrong about someone's intentions because of a disability-- wherein, mind you, two very common symptoms are social cluelessness and lacking a sense of danger....... Like what are we doing here.
