anyways heres beforus aselus. his official title is "The Burnsman". may or may not entirely dictate how i may move foward with blockstuck, if i ever decide to finish it.
Solitary yet social, stupid yet competent, Aselus hasn't changed much from his Alternian counterpart. Not constrained by the society he was born into on Alternia, he wholeheartedly accepted his fate as a lime with full pride, decorating himself in greens, literally eating copper and boron (sometimes ground up, sometimes not) to get his fire to burn green like his blood. his blood is his favorite color after all! He earned his title from being the person to set off the fire at troll Burning Man one year after drunkenly (and while high on multiple alien drugs) begging the showrunners if he could be the one to set the fire because it would quote "l()()k c()()l w1th my green flames". He then proceeded to control the fire to make it dance in a mesmerizing display and he has been called on to do the pyro work for the project ever since.
when he's not off having a bender at troll Burning Man, he lurks around EDM and rock shows doing their pyro work, jumping in at any time to help out if he sees there could be something added to the show. He's the kind of guy you see EVERYWHERE, think like neil cicirega, where you don't even realize it's him first but it makes you flip out that hes included in so many things you like. he's done a countless amount of community service, jumping from job to job like hes too scared to find something permanent, but he absolutely LOVES the wide array jobs he has been able to do. metalwork, glasswork, cooking… if it's anything including fire, he has likely worked the job. especially in the mines… for some reason he just can't pull himself away from the mines. definetly not because there's a cute nubby-horned "lime" down there he's hopelessly pining after. DEFINETLY not.
The closest relationship he's ever has is with Sollux, somehow still his moirail even in an alternate universe. it seems as though they're star-crossed lovers, i fucking guess. They both adore giving to their communities on beforus, so it really wasn't a suprise they got together in the first place. they're "the cheesiest moirails on the entire planet" as dubbed by karkat.
