Inspired Women Ash Anthony & Nouel Riel collaborated on this series of photographs which makes our hearts flutter...
Nouel and I met in Portland, Oregon when we were both on the verge of nothing and everything. She was trying out modeling and I had just picked up a camera. The timing couldn't have been better. What I never expected is that my beautiful new muse would also end up being one of my best friends and soul sister. Since our first encounter, Nouel and I have lived together, moved to LA, said our goodbyes as cities distanced us, and even had our rough patches. However, through and through we have always been synchronized, moving along side each other in life. When we spoke about doing this shoot together it was as if we shared the same dream. At the time I had taken a year off from shooting to gather some balance, and Nouel had moved to New Mexico for art school. This was our first shoot in over a year, and LA was the perfect setting. Our concept was to make large scale art in epic landscapes, starting with LA. We will continue this as a series in 2014, and can't wait to travel, create, inspire, and share.
