The Clone Survival

This is a pokémon Au where Ambertwo and the other clones survived but was believed died so after their 'death' Team rocket got rid of their 'remains' in secret Rocket junkyards scattered around Kanto where they all awoke and escaped from their tanks.

Ambertwo awoke in Viridian forest junkyard close to Pallet Town and after wondering for awhile was found by none other then Delilah Ketchum who while slightly disturbed by the small floating girl with glowing blue eyes quickly takes the child in and takes her to professor Oak.

Years later Ash Amber Ketchum after having used their pokémon abilities to transform into a male version of Delilah is soon going to get their first pokemon so they can continue the search for their clone siblings.

I was going to post this on April 1st for the Pokemon anime’s 20th anniversary, but I didn’t manage to finish it on time. Late is always better than never though, so there we go.

I tried to draw Ash as he would look if he actually aged in the past 20 years instead of remaining 10 forever (frankly I’m still in denial about it). I don’t think I quite managed 30 though. I considered adding a goatee or something but I find Ash would look goofy with facial hair. So I did what I could. At least he definitely doesn’t look 10! For the outfit, I was influenced by Ash’s outfits throughout the years, elements from Red’s clothing, and more than a bit of Sir Aaron from movie 8 (I still wish they did more with Ash’s Aura powers).

...I would imagine he would’ve actually won a league or two at this point. If he’s not Champion like four times over by age 30 it would be so sad. LET ASH WIN.

Sexuality Headcanon: Oblivious  I mean being like perpetually 10 (which is BS omg Nintendo/Game Freak, who’s decision is that??), its hard to say. But I think he’d have some attempt at homosexual experiences but I don’t know if he’d like it? I’d probably give the overall idea of “questioning”.

Gender Headcanon: Male

A ship I have with said character: Misty x Ash. My absolute favorite and probably will never change.

A BROTP I have with said character: Brock and Ash. Out of all of his companions, Brock feels to be the one who Ash had the best connection with and they even palled around for YEARS, like the longest ever. 

A NOTP I have with said character: Hmm I can’t think of one other than the obvious Max and any pokemon because of the again, obvious reasons. I’m cool with Iris and Ash, Tracey and Ash, Brock and Ash, but for the most part... I think I’m open for anything? I don’t really care for Serina and Ash but that’s because I’m not a fan of Serina as a character since she feels like an almost carbon copy of May with different hair and clothing.

A random headcanon: Ash really does age but he’s Asian therefore he knows the secrets of eternal youth.

General Opinion over said character: He’s a great character, has had development over the years, he’s determined, a little brash, an oblivious guy but a person I wouldn’t mind chilling with if he were an actual person.
