Morning Hike
Aayush, or Ash, as he preferred to be called - grinned at her. “I told you. You need to trust me.” His sweat ridden muscles glistened in the late morning sun. it had taken them the better part of two hours to get here, but now they could finally have their picnic. @roleplayingpsycho
“before we eat, I think I’m gonna take a dip in the stream. Wanna join me?”
Cassie shrugged. “What can I say? I’m a city girl. It’s not easy for me to trust someone who wants to take me out into nature,” she said as she took off her backpack and pulled out her water bottle. She took a sip as she watched Ash move closer to the water. “A dip in the river sounds amazing,” she said before pursing her lips. “I didn’t bring a bathing suit.”
