Appearance: A red Twi’lek with black accents. She has scars on her belly from where her owner used to beat her.
Outfit: She wears a three part headpiece that she wore as a slave. Long gloves that cover up to her shoulders. Long pants with her jacket wrapped around her waist. Her shirt is short, and leaves her belly exposed. She also wears boots.

Family:
Owner: Ashannitu was taken away from her family as a child and sold off into slavery. She was bought by a cantina owner who made her perform on his stage and “seduce” customers into buying more food and liquor. He was a cruel and selfish man who beat her and fed her the minimal amount possible.
Master: After joining the Jedi, Ashannitu’s master has become like a father to her. He is a kind and wise man, always willing to help her and teach her knew things. He tries his best to make Ashannitu feel happy and welcome.

Backstory: Ashannitu was a Twi’lek girl, taken away from her family as a child and sold off into slavery. She was bought by a cantina owner who made her perform on his stage and “seduce” customers into buying more food and liquor. All Ashannitu had was a small room which she was sent to after hours. When there, she would try and hone her force powers, levitating small items that her owner hadn’t bolted down. One day, though, a fight broke out in the cantina between a sith and jedi. During the commotion, Ashannitu was able to free herself from her chains(hitting the sith in the face in the process) and run from the cantina. Using stolen money, she bought a ticket to the jedi base, where she met the same jedi from the cantina. He thanked her for the help during the fight and offered her a place in the jedi ranks as his padawan. She accepted.

Personality:
Pre-jedi: Submissive and meek. She tried not to draw attention to herself around her owner. The only exception being when she was performing, as she forced herself to asct in a way that made her uncomfortable. She was a bit of daydreaming, sometimes simply sitting in her room and wondering what the world was like out there, away from her owner.
Post-jedi: Happy and starstruck. The smallest things bring joy out of her. She is amazed by the sizes of the planets and the amount of diversity everywhere. Slightly more bold than before, she tries to stand up for herself as much as possible.
